- Optimize freight routing using advanced analytics to reduce transit times by 15%+
- Manage carrier relationships and negotiate contracts for 100+ shipments weekly
- Implement carbon reduction initiatives achieving 20% lower emissions
- Oversee warehouse/distribution center coordination for seamless freight flow
- Develop contingency plans for weather and supply chain disruptions
- Mentor junior coordinators using proprietary logistics software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Transportation Logistics
- 5+ years experience in multi-modal freight coordination
- Expert knowledge of FTL/LTL, rail, and air freight regulations
- Proficiency in TMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or Blue Yonder)
- Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) designation preferred
- Strong data analysis skills with SQL/Excel proficiency
- Proven track record of reducing transportation costs 10-15%
- Ability to obtain TWIC/FAST credentials if required
