Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize inbound and outbound freight operations to ensure timely delivery.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and carriers.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Resolve complex shipping discrepancies and emergency logistics issues.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including warehousing and procurement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.
