Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement to final delivery.
- Negotiate favorable rates with carriers and freight forwarders to optimize shipping costs.
- Coordinate complex logistics operations, including air, sea, and land freight.
- Ensure strict compliance with customs regulations and import/export laws.
- Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed reports for management.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to resolve shipping issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in logistics and freight forwarding.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar logistics software.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Valid UAE Driver’s License.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
