Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, warehousing, and distribution.
- Analyze shipping data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to secure the best terms.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Resolve shipping discrepancies and troubleshoot logistical issues in real-time.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for customs and regulatory agencies.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline (preferred).
- Proficiency in logistics software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
