Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, including freight forwarding, inventory management, and warehousing activities.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to negotiate contracts and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and distribution of materials.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international shipping regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain accurate logistics reports, including shipment status, tracking, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in logistics coordination or supply chain management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and logistics software.
- Strong knowledge of Incoterms, import/export regulations, and customs procedures.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
- Valid Singapore driving license is an advantage.
