Responsibilities
- Analyze transportation data to identify bottlenecks and optimize supply chain routes for maximum efficiency.
- Collaborate with warehouse managers and third-party carriers to coordinate complex shipment schedules.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Cost Per Unit (CPU) to ensure operational targets are met.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems, ensuring accurate stock levels and reducing waste.
- Prepare detailed monthly reports and presentations for senior management regarding logistics performance and strategic recommendations.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to modernize our logistics workflows and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain operations, or transportation management.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Strong understanding of local and international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
