Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design process for luxury residential projects, including space planning, material selection, and custom furniture design
- Develop detailed design concepts, mood boards, and 3D visualizations using CAD, SketchUp, and Revit
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring quality execution
- Present design solutions to high-profile clients with compelling storytelling and technical expertise
- Collaborate with architectural teams to ensure seamless integration of structural and aesthetic elements
- Stay current with design trends, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in high-end residential interior design
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite)
- NCIDQ or equivalent professional certification required
- Strong portfolio demonstrating luxury residential projects
- Exceptional client communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and materials
- Experience with NYC building codes and permitting processes
