Responsibilities
- Lead design development for high-profile commercial and residential projects
- Create detailed architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and material palettes
- Coordinate with engineering teams and consultants to ensure seamless execution
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders with compelling narratives
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Stay current with emerging materials, technologies, and sustainable practices
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within budget constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive experience in architectural design
- Registered Architect license (NY State or ability to obtain reciprocity)
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Proven portfolio showcasing complex commercial/residential projects
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and zoning regulations
- Exceptional spatial problem-solving and communication skills
- LEED AP or WELL AP certification preferred
