Responsibilities
- Lead design development from conceptual sketches to construction documentation
- Manage project timelines and client communication across all phases
- Integrate sustainable materials and passive design strategies
- Coordinate MEP and structural engineering teams
- Develop 3D visualizations and immersive VR presentations
- Mentor junior designers and conduct peer reviews
- Research emerging technologies and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Architecture with 7+ years experience
- NCARB registration or eligibility for licensure
- Expert proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Portfolio demonstrating complex project delivery
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Experience with historic preservation adaptive reuse
- Strong technical writing and presentation skills
- Knowledge of Chicago building codes and zoning regulations
