Aura Architectural Studios is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to lead high-end residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of interior design projects from conceptualization to final installation.
- Develop detailed design packages including mood boards, floor plans, elevations, and custom millwork details.
- Select and specify high-end finishes, FF&E, lighting, and textiles aligned with project budgets.
- Coordinate seamlessly with architects, contractors, and specialized consultants to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Conduct client presentations and lead site inspections to verify execution quality.
- Mentor junior designers and manage internal design team workflows.
- Oversee procurement processes and project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of professional experience in a high-end design firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape/V-Ray.
- Deep understanding of building codes, construction documentation, and NYC zoning regulations.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating sophisticated aesthetic sensibility and technical competency.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for client-facing engagements.
- NCIDQ certification or architectural licensure is strongly preferred.
