Responsibilities
- Lead the complete design development process from initial site surveys to final installation.
- Develop comprehensive design packages including floor plans, interior elevations, and custom millwork details.
- Direct client communication, including presentations, site visits, and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Source and specify high-end furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), and sustainable materials.
- Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and artisans to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Manage project budgets and timelines with precision and attention to detail.
- Mentor junior designers and oversee the quality control of technical documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in luxury residential or boutique hospitality design.
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, materials, finishes, and industry standards.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end design sensibilities and technical execution.
- Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to lead a design team.
- NCIDQ certification or LEED accreditation is highly preferred.
