Are you a visionary designer looking to shape the skyline of New York City? Luminary Design Collective is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join our award-winning team. We specialize in high-end residential and boutique commercial projects that push the boundaries of modern aesthetics.
You will play a pivotal role in the design lifecycle, from initial conceptualization through to final styling, ensuring every detail reflects our commitment to luxury and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Lead design projects from conceptual development to final project installation.
- Develop detailed design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, and RCPs.
- Source unique materials, furniture, and finishes that align with client aesthetics and project budgets.
- Manage relationships with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional consultants.
- Perform on-site project management and quality control during the construction phase.
- Mentor junior designers and provide creative direction on design workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited program.
- Minimum 5-7 years of professional experience in luxury residential or boutique hospitality design.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
- Exceptional visual communication skills, including 3D rendering and mood board creation.
- In-depth knowledge of furniture construction, textiles, and materials.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high-stakes deadlines.
- NCIDQ certification or LEED AP accreditation is a significant advantage.
