Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end interior design projects from conceptualization to installation
- Develop detailed design plans, mood boards, and 3D visualizations using industry-standard software
- Manage client relationships through design presentations, revisions, and project milestones
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and architects to ensure seamless execution
- Conduct site visits, space planning, and material/finish selections
- Maintain project budgets and timelines while adhering to quality standards
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to studio innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in high-end residential/commercial design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative design solutions and technical expertise
- NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional designation required
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Knowledge of NYC building codes, sustainability standards, and accessibility requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
