Luminary Design Collective is seeking a Senior Interior Architect to lead high-end commercial and luxury residential projects in the heart of New York City. We bridge the gap between architectural rigor and interior atmosphere, delivering bespoke environments for our global clientele.
You will lead project phases from initial concept through construction administration, collaborating with artisans and engineering teams to push the boundaries of modern design.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the end-to-end design development for luxury interior projects.
- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP consultants to ensure technical precision.
- Produce comprehensive construction documentation sets, including detailed millwork and furniture specifications.
- Direct client presentations, material sourcing, and vendor management throughout the design lifecycle.
- Lead onsite project administration and resolve complex construction-phase challenges.
- Mentor junior design staff and maintain design quality standards across the studio.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and procurement schedules effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited university.
- Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in a high-end design firm.
- Expert proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong technical knowledge of building codes, ADA compliance, and construction detailing.
- Exceptional portfolio showcasing sophisticated commercial or high-end residential interiors.
- NCIDQ or AIA licensure preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design concepts to high-net-worth clients.
