Responsibilities
- Lead design development from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documents
- Manage client relationships and project timelines for high-profile developments
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers and interior designers
- Ensure compliance with ADA, LEED, and local building codes
- Present design solutions to stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Mentor junior designers and foster collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Architecture from accredited institution
- 8+ years of progressive design experience with licensed architecture registration
- Portfolio demonstrating expertise in mixed-use and adaptive reuse projects
- Proficiency in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of Chicago zoning ordinances and construction methodologies
- LEED AP BD+C certification preferred
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
