Luminary Design Studio is seeking a visionary Senior Interior Architect to join our award-winning team in the heart of New York City. As a key member of our studio, you will lead complex design phases from initial concept through to final installation, working closely with elite clients and artisan fabricators.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full lifecycle of interior architectural projects from conceptual design to construction administration.
- Develop comprehensive space planning, millwork detailing, and interior elevations using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Select and specify high-end finishes, lighting, furniture, and bespoke fixtures consistent with luxury design standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and consultant coordination to ensure seamless execution.
- Direct internal design teams and mentor junior staff to maintain project quality and aesthetic integrity.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and specialized consultants to resolve complex technical field issues.
- Present design solutions and visual narratives to high-profile clients with confidence and expertise.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution.
- 7+ years of professional experience in luxury residential or boutique commercial interior design.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Enscape or V-Ray.
- Deep understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and building codes.
- Strong portfolio showcasing high-end, sophisticated aesthetic and technical rigor.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
