Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design development including FF&E specification, material sourcing, and vendor coordination
- Develop detailed construction documents and ensure code compliance across all projects
- Manage client relationships, presenting design solutions and iterating based on feedback
- Oversee project execution through site visits, quality control, and timeline management
- Mentor junior designers while maintaining studio design standards and aesthetic vision
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to resolve technical challenges
- Contribute to business development through client proposals and portfolio presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture or Design
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end residential/commercial projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- NCIDQ or RA certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of sustainable materials and LEED/BREEAM standards
- Exceptional portfolio demonstrating spatial innovation and material mastery
- Proven ability to manage projects over $2M in value
- Strong communication skills with executive-level stakeholders
