Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design execution from conceptual sketches to detailed construction documentation
- Develop innovative spatial solutions balancing aesthetics, functionality, and client aspirations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers and MEP consultants
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships with precision
- Conduct site analysis, client consultations, and design presentations
- Maintain compliance with NYC building codes and accessibility standards
- Mentor junior designers and foster collaborative studio culture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture or Design
- 8+ years of progressive experience in high-end residential/commercial projects
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- NCIDQ certification required; LEED AP preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating luxury residential and hospitality expertise
- Exceptional spatial reasoning and material specification knowledge
- Proven track record of managing complex projects from concept to completion
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills
