Responsibilities
- Lead the design development process for large-scale commercial and luxury residential projects.
- Coordinate seamlessly with MEP engineers, structural consultants, and contractors.
- Manage end-to-end documentation, including detailed construction sets and permit filings.
- Direct client presentations and translate complex needs into sophisticated design solutions.
- Mentor junior design staff and oversee the quality control of internal project deliverables.
- Source materials, finishes, and custom furniture that align with project budgets and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in an architecture or interior design firm.
- Expert-level proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and ADA compliance standards.
- Exceptional visual communication skills, including 3D rendering (Enscape or V-Ray).
- Licensed Architect or NCIDQ certification is highly preferred.
- Strong project management capabilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
