Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design execution from conceptualization to installation for luxury residential and commercial spaces
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and 3D visualizations using AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhino
- Manage client relationships, presentations, and project timelines while maintaining design integrity
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project delivery
- Research and specify sustainable materials and innovative lighting solutions
- Mentor junior designers and conduct design reviews
- Contribute to studio-wide design strategy and business development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Architecture or Design
- 8+ years of experience in high-end residential/commercial design
- Expert proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating spatial innovation and material expertise
- NCIDQ or RA certification preferred
- Proven track record of managing projects over $1M
- Exceptional presentation skills and client management experience
- Deep knowledge of NYC building codes and permitting processes
