Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial insurance applications and assess risk factors for property/casualty portfolios
- Design tailored insurance policies balancing client needs with risk exposure
- Collaborate with actuaries to develop pricing models and loss mitigation strategies
- Lead underwriting committees and mentor junior team members
- Implement regulatory compliance protocols across all policy approvals
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in underwriting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 5+ years commercial underwriting experience with P&C specialization
- CPCU or ARM designation strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in insurance management software (Guidewire, Duck Creek)
- Expert knowledge of insurance regulations and industry standards
- Proven track record in profitable portfolio growth
- Exceptional analytical and negotiation skills
