Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex account reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial data integrity
- Collaborate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation
- Analyze financial trends and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 7 years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams
- Excellent communication skills with ability to present financial insights clearly
