Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end tax compliance, planning, and advisory services for diverse client portfolios
- Manage complex international tax issues including transfer pricing, cross-border transactions, and entity restructuring
- Develop and implement tax optimization strategies aligned with clients' financial goals
- Oversee tax audits, IRS communications, and regulatory compliance matters
- Mentor junior tax professionals and conduct team training sessions
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Thomson Reuters, CCH) for accurate reporting and analysis
- Stay current with evolving tax legislation (e.g., TCJA, OECD guidelines) and advise clients on implications
Qualifications
- CPA certification required (actively pursuing acceptable)
- 8+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Master's degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance (MBA preferred)
- Deep expertise in international tax, M&A transactions, and state/local tax compliance
- Proven track record managing high-value client relationships and cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in tax software and data analytics tools
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
