- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and clients to structure tailored insurance programs
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field; relevant certifications (CPCU, ARM) preferred
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience with proven portfolio management success
- Expertise in property, casualty, or specialty lines insurance
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in underwriting software and data visualization tools
- Exceptional communication skills for complex stakeholder negotiations
- Proven ability to balance risk appetite with business growth objectives
- Valid state insurance license or ability to obtain promptly
