Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial and personal insurance risks using advanced data analytics and actuarial modeling
- Develop tailored insurance solutions for high-net-worth clients and corporate entities
- Lead underwriting committees and mentor junior team members on risk assessment best practices
- Collaborate with actuarial teams to refine pricing models and loss ratio targets
- Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory frameworks (NAIC, Lloyd's, Solvency II)
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in underwriting workflows and AI implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of progressive underwriting experience with P&C or specialty lines
- CPCU or AU designation required (ARM, CERA strongly preferred)
- Expertise in risk assessment methodologies and policy structuring
- Advanced proficiency in underwriting platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek)
- Proven track record of profitable portfolio management
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
