Responsibilities
- Assess complex commercial property risks using advanced actuarial models and predictive analytics
- Develop and optimize underwriting guidelines aligned with emerging risk trends
- Lead cross-functional collaborations with claims and actuarial teams
- Mentor junior underwriters and foster continuous improvement culture
- Drive digital transformation initiatives in underwriting workflows
- Present risk strategies to executive stakeholders and board committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years commercial property underwriting experience with P&C carriers
- CAS designation or progress toward ACAS certification required
- Advanced proficiency in risk modeling platforms (e.g., RMS, Guidewire)
- Demonstrated success in portfolio management and loss ratio optimization
- Expert knowledge of ISO commercial property forms and state regulations
- Strong analytical skills with data visualization experience (Tableau/Power BI)
