Responsibilities
- Analyze complex commercial property risks and recommend coverage structures with precision
- Underwrite policies up to $50M, ensuring alignment with company risk appetite and regulatory standards
- Develop pricing models using advanced actuarial tools and market trend analysis
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to design customized insurance solutions
- Maintain comprehensive risk documentation and compliance records
- Mentor junior underwriters and contribute to process optimization initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field
- 7+ years of commercial property underwriting experience
- CPCU or ARM designation preferred
- Expertise in catastrophe modeling and geospatial risk assessment
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in insurance software (e.g., Guidewire)
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities
