Responsibilities
- Analyze commercial insurance applications using advanced risk assessment methodologies
- Design bespoke policy structures for high-value clients in manufacturing and tech sectors
- Leverage data analytics tools to identify emerging risk patterns and pricing opportunities
- Collaborate with actuaries and claims teams to refine underwriting frameworks
- Maintain compliance with NY State insurance regulations and Solvency II standards
- Lead cross-functional projects to launch new insurance products
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience with P&C specialization
- Proven expertise in risk modeling software (e.g., RMS, ISO ClaimSearch)
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation required
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau)
- Exceptional negotiation skills with $10M+ portfolio management experience
