Responsibilities
- Analyze complex risk profiles and determine appropriate insurance coverage terms
- Develop and maintain profitable underwriting strategies for commercial lines
- Collaborate with brokers, agents, and clients to structure tailored insurance solutions
- Monitor claims trends and adjust underwriting protocols accordingly
- Mentor junior underwriters and lead cross-functional risk assessment teams
- Ensure adherence to FSA regulations and internal compliance standards
- Contribute to product innovation and market expansion initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
- Minimum 7 years' commercial underwriting experience in APAC markets
- ACII or CII Chartered Insurance Institute certification
- Expertise in property/casualty or specialty insurance lines
- Advanced data analysis and risk modeling proficiency
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of achieving portfolio growth targets
- Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred
