Responsibilities
- Underwrite complex commercial property risks with $10M+ exposure limits
- Develop pricing models and policy structures using advanced analytics tools
- Collaborate with brokers and clients to design customized insurance solutions
- Lead underwriting committees and mentor junior team members
- Monitor regulatory changes and implement compliance protocols
- Optimize portfolio profitability through risk segmentation strategies
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial property underwriting experience
- ACII or CPCU designation required
- Expertise in catastrophe modeling (RMS, AIR)
- Strong proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter
- Proven track record in high-value risk assessment
- Advanced knowledge of NY insurance regulations
- Excel/SQL for data analysis
