Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced risk assessment models for commercial property/casualty portfolios
- Analyze emerging trends in climate risk, cyber threats, and regulatory changes
- Design pricing strategies and coverage solutions for complex industrial risks
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize loss ratios and reserve adequacy
- Present risk insights to executive leadership and board committees
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in risk methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance risk analysis or underwriting
- ASA, ACAS, or CPCU designation preferred
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data manipulation and modeling
- Deep understanding of insurance regulations (NAIC, state-specific)
- Strong communication skills translating complex concepts to stakeholders
- Experience with catastrophe modeling software (AIR, RMS, or EQECAT)
