Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios using advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for commercial and personal lines
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine policy terms and pricing structures
- Ensure compliance with state/federal insurance regulations and industry best practices
- Lead cross-functional projects to enhance risk management frameworks
- Present risk insights to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in insurance risk analysis or underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and insurance-specific modeling tools
- CAS/SOA designation or equivalent industry certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in catastrophe modeling and loss forecasting
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication abilities for complex technical concepts
