Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
- Develop risk assessment frameworks for property, casualty, and specialty lines
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine risk evaluation methodologies
- Create comprehensive risk reports and executive dashboards for stakeholders
- Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and lead risk innovation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of insurance risk analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in R, Python, or SAS for predictive modeling
- ACAS or CPCU certification strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience with catastrophe modeling software (e.g., RMS, AIR)
- Expert knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to present complex data clearly
