Responsibilities
- Analyze complex insurance portfolios using advanced statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Develop risk assessment frameworks for property, casualty, and specialty lines
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to optimize pricing strategies and loss ratios
- Lead compliance initiatives with state/federal insurance regulations (NAIC, ACA)
- Present risk insights to C-suite executives through executive dashboards
- Mentor junior analysts and implement continuous improvement processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Finance (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years in insurance risk analysis or underwriting
- Professional certifications (ASA, ACAS, or CPCU) required
- Expertise in SQL, R, and Python for data analysis
- Demonstrated experience with catastrophe modeling tools (AIR, RMS)
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations and solvency frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex data to stakeholders
