Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced risk assessment models for property/casualty and life insurance portfolios
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical software (Python/R) to identify emerging risk patterns
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine policy terms and pricing strategies
- Develop regulatory compliance frameworks aligning with NAIC and state insurance regulations
- Present risk insights to executive stakeholders through visual dashboards and executive reports
- Mentor junior analysts while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive insurance risk analysis experience
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and SAS with portfolio modeling experience
- ACAS or CPCU designation strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in predictive analytics and machine learning applications
- Deep understanding of insurance regulations (including ACA, Dodd-Frank)
- Exceptional communication skills translating complex data to business audiences
