Responsibilities
- Analyze insurance portfolios using advanced statistical modeling to identify risk trends and exposure patterns
- Develop and implement underwriting guidelines for commercial and specialty insurance products
- Collaborate with actuaries to price policies and optimize risk-reward ratios
- Lead post-loss analysis to identify emerging risks and refine risk management strategies
- Present risk assessment reports to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Maintain compliance with state and federal insurance regulations (NAIC, Dodd-Frank)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting or risk analysis
- Advanced proficiency in risk assessment software (RMS, Guidewire, or equivalent)
- Professional designation (CERA, ARM, CPCU) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of property/casualty insurance products and regulatory frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex datasets
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder management abilities
