Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced risk assessment models for commercial insurance portfolios
- Analyze large datasets using Python, R, and SQL to identify emerging risk patterns
- Collaborate with underwriting teams to refine pricing strategies and policy terms
- Present complex risk analyses to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Stay current with regulatory changes (e.g., NAIC, Dodd-Frank) and ensure compliance

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Statistics, or related field (MS/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in commercial insurance risk analysis or underwriting
- Advanced proficiency in statistical modeling (GLM, survival analysis, machine learning)
- Professional certifications (e.g., ASA, ARM, or CPCU) highly desirable
- Experience with insurance-specific software (e.g., Guidewire, Duck Creek)
- Strong communication skills translating technical insights to non-technical audiences
