Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced predictive models for property/casualty risk evaluation
- Analyze large-scale insurance datasets using Python, SQL, and R to identify emerging risk patterns
- Collaborate with actuaries to refine underwriting algorithms and pricing strategies
- Present risk mitigation insights to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating IoT and telematics data into risk assessment frameworks
- Maintain compliance with NAIC regulations and evolving insurance compliance landscapes
- Mentor junior analysts on advanced statistical methodologies and regulatory best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of insurance risk analysis or underwriting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn) and SQL
- CAS or CPCU designation or willingness to pursue within 12 months
- Demonstrated experience with predictive modeling and machine learning algorithms
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations (NAIC, state-specific)
