Responsibilities
- Define and execute the multi-year product lifecycle strategy for our flagship Commercial P&C line, ensuring market competitiveness and alignment with corporate profitability goals.
- Collaborate with actuaries, underwriters, and data scientists to design risk-appetite frameworks, pricing models, and innovative coverage extensions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure absolute compliance of product filings, policy forms, and underwriting guidelines across target states.
- Utilize advanced predictive modeling and portfolio performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and optimize loss-ratio performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams across IT, marketing, and sales to seamlessly launch new insurance products and platform enhancements.
- Synthesize competitor intelligence, macroeconomic trends, and agent feedback to drive continuous product innovation and user-experience upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Risk Management, Business, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CPCU designation preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in commercial insurance product management or advanced underwriting.
- Deep understanding of commercial lines (P&C) filing processes, state regulations, and policy form drafting.
- Proven track record of successfully launching new commercial insurance products and managing a portfolio of $100M+ in written premium.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Tableau, or similar) and translating complex metrics into actionable strategies.
- Strong leadership capability with a history of driving alignment across matrixed organizational teams.
