Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex pricing models for general insurance and life insurance products using industry-standard software.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, assess risk, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
- Prepare and present technical reports and presentations to internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Collaborate with underwriting and claims teams to refine product offerings and improve profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Solvency II regulations and internal risk governance frameworks.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario testing to evaluate the impact of market changes on portfolio performance.
Qualifications
- ACAS qualification (or significant progress towards qualification).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation and analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and macros.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- 3+ years of experience in actuarial analysis or a related insurance role.
