Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive HR strategies aligned with company goals and growth initiatives
- Lead talent acquisition processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding top-tier professionals
- Design and implement performance management systems, employee development programs, and retention strategies
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (EEO, FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, conducting market analysis and benchmarking
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives across all organizational levels
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational culture initiatives
- Utilize HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) to optimize HR operations and analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
- 10+ years progressive HR experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, and compliance management
- Advanced knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices in New York State
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret HR metrics and drive data-informed decisions
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Experience with HRIS implementation and optimization (Workday, SAP SuccessFactors preferred)
- Strategic mindset with ability to align HR initiatives with business objectives
