Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives to drive organizational growth and retention.
- Talent Acquisition: Partner with leadership to build a robust talent pipeline, manage the full-cycle recruiting process, and ensure a top-tier candidate experience.
- Employee Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving complex conflicts and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and manage risk mitigation strategies.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance review cycles, coaching programs, and succession planning initiatives.
- Benefits & Culture: Administer compensation programs and organize employee engagement activities to boost morale.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a management or senior leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or SHRM-SCP/PHR certification preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g., BambooHR, Workday) and ATS platforms.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex policies into actionable insights.
- Problem Solving: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to navigate sensitive personnel matters with discretion and empathy.
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in New York City.
