Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end product development cycles from concept to commercialization, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and consumer preferences.
- Oversee sensory evaluation programs and coordinate consumer testing to validate product quality and flavor profiles.
- Ensure strict adherence to HACCP, FDA regulations, and global food safety standards across all development phases.
- Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of food technologists, chefs, and quality assurance specialists.
- Drive innovation in ingredient sourcing, focusing on sustainability, clean labels, and functional nutrition.
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product launches and supply chain feasibility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Food R&D, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
- Strong technical expertise in food formulation, rheology, and processing techniques.
- Deep knowledge of FDA regulations, labeling requirements, and allergen management.
- Proven track record of successful product launches in the consumer packaged goods sector.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical data into actionable business insights.
