Responsibilities
- Develop and implement complex risk models for credit, market, and operational exposures
- Lead stress testing scenarios and regulatory reporting (CCAR, Basel III)
- Analyze portfolio performance and recommend strategic risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with executive leadership to present risk insights and dashboard visualizations
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in risk methodologies
- Partner with IT to enhance risk analytics platforms and data pipelines
Qualifications
- 5+ years in financial risk analysis at top-tier banking institutions
- Advanced proficiency in Python, R, and SQL for quantitative analysis
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (Dodd-Frank, SR 11-7)
- MS/MBA in Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics from accredited institution
- FRM or CFA certification strongly preferred
- Experience with risk visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional risk projects
