Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive risk assessment models for credit, market, and operational exposures
- Lead stress testing scenarios and regulatory compliance reporting (including Basel III/IV)
- Develop advanced risk mitigation strategies using Python, SQL, and statistical modeling tools
- Present risk insights to C-suite executives and Board committees through executive dashboards
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in risk management methodologies
- Collaborate with global teams to harmonize risk frameworks across international markets
- Stay ahead of emerging regulatory requirements and technological disruptors in financial risk
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in financial risk management within banking/financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data manipulation
- Professional certification (FRM, PRM, or CFA Charter) preferred
- Demonstrated experience with regulatory reporting frameworks (IFRS 9, CRD IV)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Strong stakeholder management experience with ability to influence senior leadership
- Knowledge of machine learning applications in financial risk modeling
