Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced quantitative models for credit, market, and operational risk assessment
- Lead stress testing scenarios and regulatory compliance reporting (Basel III/IV)
- Develop real-time dashboards for executive risk exposure visualization using Power BI and Python
- Partner with trading desks to validate derivative pricing models and counterparty risk metrics
- Mentor junior analysts and drive continuous improvement in risk methodologies
- Present risk insights to the Board of Directors and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in financial risk management with top-tier banking/investment firms
- Masters in Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, or Mathematics
- Expertise in Python/R, SQL, and risk platforms (Murex, SAS, or Algo)
- FRM or CFA charterholder with deep regulatory knowledge
- Proven track record developing machine learning models for predictive risk analytics
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency and DeFi risk landscapes
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
