Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/quarter-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead SOX 404 compliance testing and internal control documentation
- Manage accounting operations for 15+ portfolio companies
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with investment teams on fund valuation and capital calls
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Mentor junior accounting staff and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance; CPA required
- 8+ years public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite, SAP)
- SOX compliance and SEC reporting expertise
- Experience with private equity/venture capital portfolios
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
