Responsibilities
- Oversee all corporate accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, and payroll functions.
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk.
- Partner with executive leadership to provide actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts to identify optimization opportunities.
- Mentor and develop the accounting staff to foster a culture of professional growth and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.
- Expert-level proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and advanced Excel.
- Proven track record of managing high-performing teams and streamlining financial workflows.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and regulatory financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
