Join Apex Financial Partners as our Senior Financial Controller and lead financial strategy for our growing portfolio of investment firms. You'll oversee end-to-end accounting operations, drive compliance initiatives, and provide critical financial insights to our executive team. Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure SOX compliance
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
- Lead cross-functional audits and regulatory reporting
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and workflows
- Present financial insights to C-suite and board members
- Mentor junior finance team members and manage department KPIs
Qualifications
- CPA certification with 8+ years in public accounting and corporate finance
- Proven experience in financial reporting under GAAP and SEC regulations
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and financial analytics tools
- Strong background in M&A accounting and consolidation processes
- Advanced Excel skills with proficiency in financial modeling
- Excellent communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
