Responsibilities
- Manage all accounting operations, including General Ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risk.
- Partner with executive leadership to prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Oversee tax compliance, regulatory reporting, and coordination with external auditors.
- Drive process improvements to increase the efficiency and automation of the finance department.
- Provide detailed variance analysis to identify trends and strategic opportunities for cost optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a blend of public accounting and private industry.
- Deep expertise in GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing finance teams.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business recommendations.
- Exceptional integrity and a track record of maintaining rigorous ethical standards.
